Analysis

The performance criteria can be adjusted to reflect the surrounding land uses. Taller solar generating systems may impact on neighbour’s views or alter the landscape. Systems taller than 10 metres in height in any zone are not considered suitable for an exempt and complying development framework, and would require a greater level of assessment.

In the context of an exempt and complying development framework, impacts can be addressed by controlling:
